Success!

Wow! We had so many families come out tonight. I think this was the best turnout yet! I am so happy to have met you and your child and it was great to finally put some faces to all those names I have been seeing the last few weeks. I hope you are as excited for school to start as I am.

I would like to address a few questions that I received tonight. The updated supply list I have posted on my blog is for Language Arts. If you took it to your homeroom, that is perfectly fine. We are going to label all the supplies with the children on Monday so they become familiar with everything they will be responsible for.

Another question was regarding carpool. If your child has a younger sibling, they will be going to that class for carpool pick up. If you were not able to sign my sheet with this information, please send me an email so we can direct your child to the correct place. If your child is a van rider and you were not able to sign the sheet, please send me a note or email Monday morning so your child will go to the correct place.

The last question I was asked was regarding volunteers. Each classroom has their own set of volunteer jobs, however, you are more than welcome to go to any classroom to help out. All other questions will be answered during our parent informational meeting on Thursday. I hope you all can make it!

 I also want to say that I greatly appreciate all the apples that were taken from my Wish Tree. If you picked one up, all donations may be brought to the classroom at your convenience. I look forward to a great year working with you and your child. See you on Monday!
