Welcome Back!

Greetings Parents!
Our first week back from Spring Break stated off with a bang!  The activity and energy level has been high, and the students are showing extra enthusiasm and enjoyment in what we're learning. I think Spring Break was a much needed break and the students have come back with an eagerness that is contagious!

Next week we will have our practice EOG test on Monday. This is a released EOG from North Carolina. I sent a note home in their agenda's with some information about this. I know I stated that it will be taken for a grade but it will not be put in the gradebook. This is for your information. I will also give you their raw scores to let you know where they are in terms of progress from the BOG. I will also have a break down of the questions and what standard each one follows. We will have the same setting and rules that need to be followed for the actual EOG so each student will be aware of how it will be run. Please make sure they get plenty of rest on Sunday. The actual EOG for reading will be on a Monday. Also, they need to eat a well balanced breakfast since we will not break for snack time.

This  week we will have our regular scheduled tutoring class after school on Wednesday. Next week, I will be out of the classroom and will not hold a tutoring session.
